THE LIGHTED TOUR
This one hour trip takes you a quarter mile underground on graded trails through lit passageways as big as train tunnels. Explore the history, archaeology, geology and beauty of lava tubes. This trip is suitable for everyone who can walk up and down stairs.

THE WILD TOUR
This trip takes up to two and half hours. Embark on a geological journey through a spellbinding labyrinth of unbelievable beauty! Hike beyond the Lighted Trail with your guide, equipped with helmets, lights, knee pads and gloves. We provide the gear. Must be in reasonable physical condition.

THE ARCHEOLOGICAL TOUR
This 1 hour tour takes you through another side of the cave that involves a walk and story through the cave. We will look and learn about artifacts left behind by native Hawaiians that used to travel from the area where they lived by the sea to the upper slopes of Moana Loa. This side of the cave also has some fascinating volcanic formation in massive passages.

- DRIVE TO Ocean View, Hwy 11, Kula Kai View Estates turn down Kona Kai Boulevard
- Turn right at Lauhala Drive, park in parking area to your right, in front of the cave entrance.
- Please go to the Tour Office to process your payments and meet your Guide.
- Restroom is available.
- You will be required to sign a waiver.
- You will be provided with appropriate equipment needed for your tour.
- Your Guide will then talk about exciting and educational information about these cave and lava tube systems, as well as show you where you are on the map.
- You will then enter the cave and your expedition will begin!
- On exiting the cave, please go up to the Tour office to return the equipment.
- Tours operate together TUESDAY - SUNDAY.
- Tour times are:

- This cave is in a GATED COMMUNITY
